Work in a supportive and collaborative environment with a dedicated call group of 8 providers, ensuring a manageable call schedule (approximately once every 6-7 weeks). Call responsibilities include responding to phone calls from outside physicians and covering inpatient consults.

Job Responsibilities
Expected Patient Load: 12-16 patients per day.
Patient Population: Autoimmune diseases and related conditions.
Special Equipment/Ancillary Services: Access to advanced resources to support patient care.
Qualifications
Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
Successful completion of Rheumatology Fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution.
Board Certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology from said residency.
Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
