Regional Director, Child Abuse Pediatrics
Academic Faculty Leadership Role, University of South Florida
Position Highlights:
- Senior Child Abuse Pediatrics leadership role within USF's 30+ year, established CPT program serving West-Central Florida.
- With strong infrastructure, policies, and multidisciplinary relationships in place, you can shape the future of the program with real autonomy and leadership influence.
- Supervise a large, highly experienced APRN workforce trusted to manage most frontline evaluations.
- Access to strong academic infrastructure and statewide, multi-site research opportunities through the CPT network.
- Close partnership with Tampa General Hospital / Muma Children’s Hospital, the region’s only Pediatric Level I Trauma Center.
- Function as a regional clinical authority within Florida’s state-mandated Child Protection Team system.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO; BC/BE in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Prior experience in Child Abuse Pediatrics required.
- Fellowship training preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and collaborative skill set.
- Senior candidates preferred; all qualified candidates considered.
