Academic Neonatologist – Texas Tech University
High-Impact Level IV NICU Setting in No-Income Tax State
Practice Highlights:
- Level IV academic NICU with 50 beds, full-scope acuity, and robust subspecialty access.
- Cohesive team of neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatric residents
- Predictable 1–2 week service blocks with a well-supported in-house call model that protects true off-time.
- Consistent leadership in high-risk deliveries with streamlined OB collaboration.
- Influence evolving Neuro-NICU, Small Baby, and POCUS programs; lead QI and clinical protocol development.
- Additional income available through departmental moonlighting; competitive academic compensation with bonuses, relocation, fellowship stipend eligibility, and full benefits including state pension.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive academic base commensurate with rank/experience.
- Bonus & Incentives: Signing & relocation bonuses including Fellowship stipend up to $30,000 (eligible candidates).
