Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Faculty Position
ALABAMA
Alabama College of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is seeking a full-time OMM Faculty Physician to join our growing Department in Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP). The college has a strong reputation for innovation in osteopathic medical education and a supportive academic environment. This role combines clinical practice, teaching, and service to support the department’s mission and the training of the next generation of osteopathic physicians.
Position Highlights:
- Mixture of outpatient patient care and teaching responsibilities.
- No call or weekends!
- Supervise 3rd- and 4th-year osteopathic medical students during clinical rotations
- Mentor, supervise and deliver didactic lectures and labs for OMS I & II students
- Participate in curriculum development, faculty committees, and student advising
- Contribute to faculty development, scholarly activity, and recruitment initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range $290,000 – $340,000 commensurate with experience
- Signing Bonus: $75,000 paid upfront with a 3-year contract
- Relocation Assistance: up to $20,000
- CME: $5,000 annually + 5 days
- Paid Time Off: 120 hours annually + sick leave + 10 paid holidays
