The department of Dermatology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking an accomplished & dedicated Academic Faculty Physician to join the team.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Efforts: The position offers clinical involvement in various areas including General Dermatology, Mohs Surgery, specialty clinics, & Cosmetic Dermatology.
Research Efforts: Dermatologist will be able to collaborate with our on-site clinical studies unit (conducting phase 2 & 3 clinical trials). There is opportunity to work within our esteemed Center for Dermatologic Research in investigator-initiated research (in partnership with research fellows & renowned dermatologist, Dr. Steve Feldman).
Educational Efforts: Physician will play a vital role in educating & mentoring medical & PA students as well as residents from Dermatology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, & Family Medicine. Opportunities to teach within Wake Forest University School of Medicine in the pre-clerkship or clerkship curriculum are available. Leadership opportunities within our Dermatology residency program will be available for consideration.
Requirements:

• MD/DO
• BC/BE
• Fellowship trained
• Successful record of clinical and service excellence, research experience, and interest in graduate medical education
• North Carolina licensure or eligible
