First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is looking to employ a Physician Assistant with experience in Urology to work in a hospital and clinic setting. The position is located in the highly desirable area of Sarasota, Florida and only a few minutes from the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Lido Key and Anna Maria Island on the West Coast of Florida. Sarasota is located about 60 minutes south of Tampa and 1.5 hours north of Ft. Myers. The community is rich with activities for people of all ages and it has some of the best schools in the country.

About the Position:

• 2+ years of experience as a PA/APRN with prior work history in Urology is preferred but not required.
• Candidate will join a busy practice made up of four (4) outstanding Urologists, three APPs and a large support staff.
• Will primarily be clinic based, with occasional hospital rounding.
  
• Schedule will be Monday - Friday, 7:30AM to 4:30PM.
• No Surgical First Assist responsibilities required.
• Weekend call is 1:4 to be shared equally with the APPs in the practice and will include hospital rounding.
• Will have the following Friday off to compensate for weekend call.
• Doctor’s take call at night.
• Will mainly see patients in Sarasota and may travel to other satellite offices.
• This is an employed position with a successful multi-specialty group that has a 27 year history in the community.
• Florida license preferred.
