Locums | Urology NP/PA | Marshfield, WI (any state license accepted via Act 10 expedited pathway)
Why This Role

Flexible 1–2 weeks per month
Temporary privileges available
Clinic and surgical first-assist coverage
Established APP support and skills training
Assignment Details
Start: ASAP upon credentialing; ongoing
Schedule: Approximately 1–2 weeks per month; clinic 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call for assigned patients
Call: Approximately 1:3–1:4; 15-minute response required
Volume: 10–16 patients per shift
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient; Level II trauma setting
Support: 4 APPs, 1 RN, 3 MAs, and 7 office staff
EMR: Cerner; experience preferred
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
Clinical Details
Required: Clinical and surgical urology experience; clinic visits, surgical first assist, and call coverage
Surgical scope: Open and endoscopic cases
Preferred: Robotic surgical assistance; cystoscopy skills a plus
Helpful skills: PVR assessment, voiding trials, catheter placement, difficult catheter management, urethral dilation, stent removal, cystograms, InterStim troubleshooting, and urologic medication administration
Not all procedural skills required; employed APPs can provide training in selected skills
Patient population: Adult men and women, transgender patients, and pediatric inpatients; pediatric clinic optional
No admissions or APP/resident supervision required
Requirements
NP or PA; board-certified or board-eligible
Any state license accepted via Act 10 expedited pathway
Clinical and surgical urology experience
