Urogynecology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Norwich, CT Full-Time | Outpatient Urogynecology | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours A Urogynecology practice in Eastern Connecticut is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of female pelvic medicine patients. Opportunity Highlights:

  • Urogynecology APP role focused on female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery
  • Primarily outpatient setting, with possible inpatient coverage as needed
  • Care for patients with urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, urinary retention, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, recurrent urinary tract infections, painful intercourse, fecal incontinence, and defecatory dysfunction
  • Responsibilities include consultation, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, and individualized care planning
  • Clinical skills may include bladder catheterization, bladder irrigations, instillations, admission orders, discharge orders, and possible office-based cystoscopy
  • Full-time salaried position
  • Monday-Friday day schedule
  • 40 hours per week
  • Coverage may include multiple regional practice sites, including Norwich, Waterford, Glastonbury, and Hartford

  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or Nurse Practitioner Master’s program
  • Connecticut PA or APRN license
  • Certification as a PA or national board certification as an APRN
  • Urogynecology, urology, women’s health, pelvic medicine, or related experience preferred
  • Strong communication, patient education, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills
