Physician Assistant (PA), Urology

Our client, a reputable healthcare provider specializing in urology services in Riverhead, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA), Urology to join their dedicated team in a clinic-based setting with no call requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced urology practice focusing exclusively on outpatient care. The selected candidate will have the chance to work alongside experienced urologists, with opportunities for procedural learning if desired. Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload of approximately 30 urology patients per day in a clinical setting.
• Conduct patient assessments, history taking, and physical examinations.
• Assist in diagnosis and treatment planning under the supervision or collaboration of urologists.
• Perform patient education and follow-up care instructions.
• Participate in collaborative discussions with urology physicians regarding patient management.
• Optional: Learn and perform urological procedures based on interest and capability.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to clinic protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensure: Current state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Experience: While experienced candidates are preferred, new graduates with exceptional academic and clinical performance may be considered.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach.
• Additional: Willingness to learn procedures is a plus but not mandatory. No call duties required.
• Candidates must be able to manage a high patient volume efficiently and work collaboratively within a team environment.
