APP – Urology Opportunity Location: Farmington, CT • Specialty: Urology / Men’s Health • Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) • Setting: Ambulatory / Outpatient • Schedule: Monday–Friday • Call: No call • Position Type: Full-Time • Coverage: Potential coverage of nearby practice locations • Experience: Men’s Health, Urology, or men’s sexual dysfunction experience preferred About the Practice • Join a multidisciplinary Men’s Health program focused on providing personalized and coordinated care for men. • New, dedicated setting designed to provide comprehensive men’s healthcare. • Multiple Urologists with expertise in: o General Urology o Andrology, including sexual health and fertility o Kidney and urinary stones o Urologic cancers • Multidisciplinary access to additional specialists, including: o Cardiology o Endocrinology o Bariatric Medicine o Bariatric Surgery o Mental Health • Focus on whole-person care in a comfortable, patient-centered environment. APP Role & Responsibilities • Evaluate and manage urology patients in an ambulatory setting. • Initiate patient care meetings with the healthcare team and revise the plan of care as needed. • Participate in total quality management initiatives to improve patient and system outcomes. • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team. • APPs with additional interest in cardiology, endocrinology, or bariatric medicine may have opportunities to gain experience in these specialties. • Opportunity to learn from experienced mentors and progressively work more independently. • Opportunity to perform procedures with appropriate training and supervision. Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred. • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or APRN in Connecticut. • Certified or eligible for certification as a Physician Assistant or nationally board-certified as an APRN. • Men’s Health, Urology, or men’s sexual dysfunction experience preferred.
