APRN First Assist / Physician Assistant Opportunity | Join a Leading Surgical Team in Tulsa, OK
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide surgical first assist services and advanced clinical support alongside physicians
- Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and clinical evaluations
- Develop, implement, and manage patient care plans within scope of practice
- Assist with procedures and treatments according to established protocols
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Provide patient education and promote wellness throughout the care continuum
- Manage documentation including medical records, care plans, and billing requirements
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
- Maintain compliance with Saint Francis Health System, OSHA, HIPAA, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Advanced Practice Nursing program
- Current Oklahoma PA license or Oklahoma APRN license with specialty certification
- APRNs must have current Oklahoma BON Prescriptive Authority Recognition
- APRN candidates must have First Assist certification
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills
- New graduates and candidates with 0–1 years of experience are encouraged to apply
