Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Washington State license or eligibility through IMLC
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Recent outpatient urology experience
• Surgical first assisting experience required
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

• Established Urology Department
• Epic EMR
• Dedicated clinical support staff
• 14-bed department
• Approximately 22 patients per shift

Locum Urology Physician Assistant

We are seeking two experienced Urology Advanced Practice Providers (PA) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity with a leading healthcare organization in Richland, Washington. This position offers a combination of outpatient urology clinic responsibilities, surgical first assisting, and call coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Highlights

• Full-time locum assignment starting November 2026
• Ongoing coverage until permanent providers are hired
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (or 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM)
• Mix of outpatient clinic and surgical first assisting
• One day per week assisting in surgery on average
• Overnight and weekend call responsibilities
• Call rotation approximately 1:4
• Inpatient and outpatient practice setting
• Long-term coverage opportunity

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urology patient care in the outpatient clinic setting
• Assist urologists in surgical procedures
• Participate in inpatient rounding and care as needed
• Provide weeknight and weekend beeper call coverage
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
