Locums | Urgent Care PA/NP | Lafayette & West Lafayette, IN (IN license or IMLC listed; APP eligibility pending confirmation) Why This Role

  • Ongoing Urgent Care coverage with 4 openings
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Outpatient-only setting with no call
  • Established clinical support team
  • Opportunities across Lafayette and West Lafayette
Assignment Details Start/end: ASAP – ongoing Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week Shift hours: 7:45a–8:15p Days: Rotating schedule, including weekends Coverage type: Outpatient Urgent Care, No Call Locations: Lafayette and West Lafayette, IN Patient volume: Approximately 45 patients/shift Department: 13 beds listed Support: 4 RNs, 3 MAs, 4 APPs, and 2 office staff listed EMR: Cerner Credentialing: Approximately 90 days; no temporary privileges Clinical Details Outpatient Urgent Care evaluations and treatment Management of acute illnesses and injuries High-volume clinical environment Collaboration with nursing and advanced practice colleagues No inpatient admissions or rounding Specific procedures and patient age range TBD Requirements Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with Urgent Care experience Indiana APP license eligibility required; submission requirements pending confirmation Appropriate PA/NP board certification ACLS required BLS required PALS required Comfortable managing approximately 45 patients per shift Availability for three 12-hour shifts weekly, including weekends Hospital privileging required Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
