Looking for a part-time PA role that fits around your life?
A well-established specialty practice in Monmouth County is adding a Physician Assistant to its walk-in injury and urgent care clinic. The hours are evenings and Saturday mornings. It’s a good fit if you want to pick up extra hours alongside a full-time job, keep your acute care skills sharp, or ease back into clinical work.
You’ll see patients with sprains, strains, fractures, lacerations, and other acute injuries. Your work will get them diagnosed and on the road to recovery quickly, without a long ER wait.
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- No overnights, no Sundays, and no call
What You’ll Do
- Read X-rays and diagnostic results to guide treatment plans
- Give joint and soft tissue injections and other pain management treatments
- Splint, cast, suture, and care for wounds
- Evaluate walk-in patients with acute musculoskeletal injuries, including focused history, physical exam, and injury assessment
- Triage patients by acuity so the most urgent cases are seen first
- Document visits in eClinicalWorks (eCW), with accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Work with supervising physicians on complex cases and coordinate specialist referrals or follow-ups
What You’ll Bring
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced walk-in setting, with a calm and friendly bedside manner
- An active New Jersey PA license
- Hands-on skills in splinting, casting, suturing, and injections
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, orthopedics, or sports medicine
