Job description
We are seeking a qualified Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locums coverage in Southampton, PA. This opportunity is ideal for a provider who enjoys treating a variety of acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Coverage Dates:
· October 29
· November 1–2
· November 6–8
· Additional future dates available
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries.
- Perform appropriate examinations, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Provide patient education, treatment recommendations, and follow-up instructions.
- Perform urgent care procedures within the provider’s scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and quality care.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or licensed Physician Assistant.
- Active Pennsylvania license.
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Compensation
- $90–$100 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
