About the Position
No Call | $10K Annual Loan Repayment | 6 Weeks PTO | PSLF Eligible
An established Immediate Care practice in Channahon, Illinois is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented environment with a broad mix of acute illnesses and injuries. The FNP will have significant clinical independence while benefiting from on-site diagnostics and access to comprehensive hospital-based specialty services.

Clinical Responsibilities
* Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
* Manage fractures, lacerations, skin conditions, dehydration, and other common Immediate Care presentations
* Perform appropriate physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
* Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies
* Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans
* Provide Occupational Medicine services
* Perform common Urgent Care procedures, including:
* Suturing
* Splinting
* Incision and drainage
* Foreign body removal
* Coordinate referrals and higher levels of care when appropriate
* Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care

Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
* Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
* Current or eligible Illinois APRN license
* BLS certification
* ACLS certification
* PALS certification
* DOT certification required prior to start
* Comfortable performing suturing and other common Urgent Care procedures
* Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or similar acute-care experience preferred
* Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently
* Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
