Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Urgent Care (Full-Time)
Urgent Care in the Auburn area is opening up a clinic looking for two APPs to join their team. This includes clinical autonomy, leadership support, predictable scheduling, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
*Treat urgent/episodic conditions,
*Perform procedures (lacerations, I&D, splinting/wound care),
*DOT physicals,
*Order/interpret labs & imaging,
*Chart in EMR.
Schedule:
- Clinic hours: Mon–Sat 8a–7p | Sun 9a–5p
- Typical schedule: 3 shifts/week (3x 11-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- No call / no overnights
Requirements
- NP or PA-C + national certification
- 2+ years post-licensure experience
- Alabama license + BLS
- Urgent Care/ED/Primary Care preferred
- DOT Medical Examiner certification (or obtain within 6 weeks—training provided)
Compensation:
Pay: $110,000–$125,000/year (depending on years of experience + productivity incentives
Bonus: Up to $10,000 sign-on
OT: Time-and-a-half after 40 hours
