Contract Urgent Care NP/PA – Lafayette, CO
Specialty: Urgent Care NP/PA
Location: Lafayette, CO with floating to Lakewood, Aurora, and Lone Tree
Start: ASAP following credentialing
Assignment: Initial 3-month contract
Rate: $130/hour
Setting: Urgent Care Clinic
Schedule
Varying shifts each week:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, 9:30 AM–8:00 PM, or 11:00 AM–10:00 PM
- Weekends: 8:00 AM–6:30 PM or 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
- Weekend availability is required
- No call
Clinical Responsibilities
High-acuity urgent care treating patients of all ages, including:
- Suturing
- Incision and drainage
- Splinting
- Toenail removal
- General urgent care procedures
- Approximately 3 patients per hour
- ESI acuity levels 3–5
Requirements
- NP or PA
- Emergency room experience required
- High-acuity urgent care experience strongly preferred
- Board Certified
- Active Colorado license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association
- Temporary privileges may be available
Support
LPNs and RNs on site, with occasional MA support and two Emergency Medicine physicians on site daily.
EMR: Epic/HealthConnect
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
Vaccination: Preferred; waivers may be considered
