Job description
seeking an experienced Family Medicine NP or PA to provide outpatient coverage following a provider departure. The facility is open to splitting the assignment between multiple providers to accommodate scheduling needs.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Day shifts only
- No call
- No telemedicine
- No home care
Patient Volume
- Approximately 30-55 patients per day
- Volume shared between 2-3 providers
Required Procedures
Providers should be comfortable performing:
- Laceration repairs
- Incision & drainage
- Splinting, casting, slings, and wraps
- IV placement
- Reduction of minor dislocated joints
- Foreign body removal
- Epistaxis (nosebleed) management
- Tick removal
- Wound care
- X-ray interpretation
- EKG interpretation
- Laboratory interpretation
- Immunizations
Requirements
- Board Certified NP or PA
- New York license required at presentation
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- 1-5+ years of Family Medicine experience preferred
