Physician Assistant — Urgent Care (PAC)

Location: Charlottesville, VA

Role Overview:
We’re hiring a Physician Assistant (PAC) to join our urgent care team. You will provide comprehensive urgent care, manage acute conditions, perform procedures, interpret diagnostics, and engage with patients in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications:

• Active or eligible for a Physician Assistant (PAC) license in Virginia.

• Valid and active DEA registration.

• Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience as a PA.

• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care strongly preferred.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and urgent clinical conditions

• Order and interpret labs and imaging

• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans

• Perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing, I&Ds, splinting)

• Complete clinical documentation in EMR

• Collaborate with clinical support staff to ensure high-quality patient care

• Competitive compensation with premium pay for overtime

• Sign On Bonus: up to $20,000 (amortized over 1 or 2 years)

• Relocation assistance up to $5,000 to help with moving expenses

• Annual CME allowance (typically $2,000–$3,000 per year)

• SCI (Strategic Care Initiative): Annual bonus based on prior-year earnings.
