Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opening Rockland County, NY

Position Details
- Join our Acute Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a high-volume urgent care setting
- Multiple providers and nurses per shift
- On-site lab and X-ray with radiologist over-read
- Access to multiple on-site specialties for consultation
- No nightly call
- Flexible schedule: daytime, one evening per week, Fridays, and weekends
Responsibilities
Conduct physical exams, assessments, and treatment of acute and sub-acute conditions
Order and interpret imaging and laboratory testing
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, and splinting (preferred but not required)
Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary care team

$3,500 sign-on bonus for full-time NP/PA
Competitive salary range: $117,000 $145,000 annually
No billing or overhead responsibility

Requirements
Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
Active, unrestricted NYS license and certification
Active NY DEA registration
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of independent clinical experience
Eligible to work in the US
