Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opening Rockland County, NY A federally qualified health center offering comprehensive care in Rockland and Sullivan Counties.   • Join our Acute Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a high-volume urgent care setting
  • Multiple providers and nurses per shift
  • On-site lab and X-ray with radiologist over-read
  • Access to multiple on-site specialties for consultation
  • No nightly call
  • Flexible schedule: daytime, one evening per week, Fridays, and weekends
Responsibilities Conduct physical exams, assessments, and treatment of acute and sub-acute conditions Order and interpret imaging and laboratory testing Complete accurate and timely documentation Perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, and splinting (preferred but not required) Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary care team Benefits Details $3,500 sign-on bonus for full-time NP/PA Competitive salary range: $117,000 $145,000 annually No billing or overhead responsibility FTCA malpractice coverage Full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 403B retirement plan NHSC Loan Repayment and NYS Public Loan Forgiveness eligibility CME and licensure support Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Reimbursement Cards Generous PTO and up to 13 paid holidays Community Details Easy drive to New York City and airports Scenic villages along the Hudson River Mountain views, parks, hiking and biking trails Prestigious schools and universities Thriving healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and construction industries Requirements Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program Active, unrestricted NYS license and certification Active NY DEA registration BLS certification Minimum 1 year of independent clinical experience Eligible to work in the US
