Job Description

A Salem, Oregon based client is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide care to patients of all ages in an urgent care setting. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician Assistant who values providing equitable care to all populations.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current OR state Physician Assistant license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages in urgent care
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
