🚀 Take on a High Pay Travel NP/PA opportunity in Vascular Surgery in Syracuse, New York! This is a full-time, inpatient-only role supporting a busy vascular surgery service with strong surgical exposure and autonomous practice.
Work alongside an experienced vascular surgeon in a collaborative hospital setting, managing adult and geriatric patients. This Top Paying NP/PA assignment offers a dynamic case mix, operative first assist responsibilities, and full-time schedule availability.
Ideal for experienced vascular or cardiac surgery APPs seeking a fast-paced surgical environment with meaningful clinical impact.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform pre-operative physical exams
• Intraoperative first assist in vascular procedures
• Removal of dialysis catheters
• Suture removal
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Write prescriptions
• Care coordination and discharge planning
• Participate in overnight emergency OR call (1–2 days/week, taken from home)
• Document in Epic EMR
Qualifications
• NP must have RNFA – Required
• Active New York State License – Required at submission
• BLS & ACLS Certification – Required
• Recent NPDB Self-Query Report – Required
• Vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience – Required
• No new graduates
• Full-time availability required
Working Hours
• Full-Time Travel Assignment (Minimum 3 Months)
• Overnight Emergency OR Call: 1–2 Days/Week (Home Call)

• Strong inpatient medical management
• Procedural proficiency (dialysis catheter removal, suturing)
• Critical thinking in surgical settings
• Pre- and post-operative patient care
