Join a leading medical group as a Thoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider in Bridgeport, CT. This position offers an engaging role in a dynamic, multi-site thoracic surgery department.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Not specified
- Shift: Flexible
- Schedule: 3-4 days per week
- Hours: 10-hour shifts
- Setting: OR, inpatient, outpatient
Responsibilities:
The Thoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for:
- First assist in the OR
- Inpatient rounding, admissions, and discharges
- Outpatient clinic visits
- Multi site collaboration with the Thoracic Surgery team
- Travel between multiple hospital sites
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience required
- Graduate degree as a PA or NP
- BLS certification
- Experience in thoracic surgery
- Robotic surgery expertise
- Comfortable in OR, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Independent and collaborative team player
Desired Skills:
- Extensive thoracic surgery experience
- Advanced degree in related field
- Robotic surgery certifications
- First assist in thoracic surgeries
- Strong adaptability and reliability
