Facility in Largo, MD, seeking CT Surgery APP locums Coverage
Rates: Orientation $140/hr
Regular hours: $140-170/hr depending on the availability and experience.
Opportunity Highlights

Structured Schedule: Work 4-10 hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday. There is no call requirement.

Diverse Responsibilities: The role involves a mix of OR support, rounding, and patient management. You will arrive at 6:30 AM to see OR patients and do H&P notes. When there are no cases, you'll assist with consults and CV ICU patients. You'll be part of the primary care team for 8-15 patients until they are discharged.

Required Skills: You MUST have a strong background in CV OR experience and be proficient in vein harvesting with the Vasoview hemopro system.

EMR System: The facility uses Epic for all charting.

Privileging: The estimated time to secure full privileges is 90 days. The facility will accept candidates who need to obtain a Maryland license.
Responsibilities

Start the day at 6:30 AM to see OR patients and perform interval H&P notes.

Work on 1-2 OR cases a day, 2-5 days per week.

Assist with consults and CV ICU patients on days without scheduled cases.

Provide post-op care, central line, arterial line, chest tube, and wound care.

Collaborate with the primary care team to manage an inpatient census of 8-15 patients.
Provider Requirements

Credential: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).

Board Status: Board Certified.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience, with a focus on CV OR.

Licensure: An active Maryland license is required, but the facility will consider candidates who need to obtain one.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
