Cardiothoracic Transplant Physician Assistant Opportunity - Orlando, Florida
Join a leading transplant program in Orlando, Florida, as a Cardiothoracic Transplant Physician Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to work within a high-acuity surgical service that offers both clinical autonomy and direct mentorship from experienced cardiothoracic surgeons, all while living in one of the most desirable locations in the Southeast.
Practice Setting
- Active Heart and Lung Transplant program
- Diverse case mix including:
- Advanced Heart Failure
- Cardiothoracic Surgery
- ECMO
- CABG procedures
- Collaborative team of surgeons, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners
- Structured mentorship from experienced transplant surgeons
- Opportunity to expand advanced procedural and perioperative skills
- Supportive, growth-oriented surgical environment
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with flexibility)
- Shared call rotation
- Guaranteed 8-hour protected rest period during on-call shifts
- Evening cases managed by the call PA
- Daytime cases covered by non-call PAs
