PA-C or NP/RNFA | Oncology & General Surgery | San Antonio, TX
Operating room only, weekdays only. No clinic, no call, no orders, no rounding. A San Antonio surgical assist group is hiring an experienced PA-C or NP/RNFA for its first assist team on robotic and laparoscopic oncology and general surgery cases. This is a full-time role with guaranteed pay and full benefits, about 30-35 hours a week, and a real path into leadership.
Your Week
- Monday to Friday, about 30-35 hours
- No call and no weekends
- A steady weekday rhythm, with a few lighter days a week that finish by noon
- Home base facility chosen to match your skill set
Pay and Benefits
- Guaranteed base salary of $135,000-$150,000 per year depending on experience, plus a productivity bonus of up to $8,000 per year
- Relocation stipend and sign-on bonus of up to $15,000
- PTO, 401(k) with company match, CME stipend, and health coverage
- Malpractice and tail coverage paid by the company
- Leadership track: PAs and NPs here move into management roles, with pay that grows alongside responsibility

Job Responsibilities
-Work in the OR only, with no clinic, call, orders, or rounding
-Typical cases include tumor resection, hysterectomies, Salpingo-Oophorectomy, colorectal procedures, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and appendectomy
-Build autonomy over time: assist through the first assist port, place trocars, dock robotic arms, use the EEA stapler, and close deep and superficial layers
Qualifications
-Comfort working through the first assist port
-Texas license, or eligibility to obtain one. Licensed elsewhere? We’ll guide you through the Texas process, and it won’t delay your offer.
