Locums Neurosurgery coverage needed in Florida with a predictable overnight schedule and an established neurosurgery team. Inpatient adult service, ongoing need, with call expectations and a 15 minute response time.
Highlights
- Ongoing coverage need, starting late December 2026
- Structured overnight shifts, Monday through Thursday
- Established neurosurgery practice support, 4 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers
- Manageable inpatient volume, about 10 patients per shift
Practice Setting
- Inpatient neurosurgery coverage
- Adult patient population
- Team model with 4 neurosurgeons and 4 APPs
- Typical volume is 10 patients per shift
Schedule
- Overnight shifts, Monday through Thursday
- Ongoing, as soon as credentialed
- Call required, weekly call expectation
- 15 minute response time, typically 0 to 25 phone consults
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board certified in Neurological Surgery
- Florida license required, will consider physicians with an active IMLC LOQ while license is in process
- BLS and ACLS
