Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician Assistant for long term locum coverage at a inpatient facility located in Greenville, SC
The PA-C must be available for the complete coverage block from 12/07/2026 to ongoing
This assignment includes Inpatient, onsite hospital coverage, neurosurgery, inpatient/acute care and surgical care, and on call weekend.
Locum Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery Greenville, SC
Shift: 10-hour (7a-5p) or 12-hour (7a-7p) shifts; AM (6a-6p) or PM (6p-6a)
Start Date: 12/07/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details: Inpatient neurosurgery coverage; 2 positions
Patient Population: 90% adults, 10% pediatrics
Setting: Hospital Inpatient
Responsibilities: Inpatient/acute care, ER, surgical care, rounds prior to clinic, nights and weekends
Required Procedures: Diagnostic/therapeutic taps, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement, primary surgical care of complex wounds
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 6 MDs, 1 RN, 4 MAs
Days Per Month: 10-hour (7a-5p) or 12-hour (7a-7p) shifts
On-Call/Weekends: 1 weeknight call and one weekend day per call week; onsite call
Requirements
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Active South Carolina License
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS required
- DEA and minimum 1 year experience required
