Exciting Locum Tenens Opportunity for an Experienced Neurosurgery NP or PA in Seattle, Washington!
Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Washington license or active IMLC eligibility
- DEA required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Previous Neurosurgery experience required
- First Assist experience is a plus, but not required
We are seeking a skilled Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established inpatient neurosurgery team. This is a full-time locum opportunity with an ongoing need and the potential for a long-term assignment.
Position Highlights
- Full-time locum tenens opportunity
- Inpatient Neurosurgery setting
- Ongoing assignment with anticipated start upon credentialing
- 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Average patient volume: 10 patients per shift
- Collaborative team environment with dedicated clinical support
- Epic EMR
- Occasional weekend beeper call coverage required
- Opportunity to work in a highly respected neuroscience program
Responsibilities
- Inpatient neurosurgery rounding and patient management
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurosurgical patients
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Participate in occasional weekend call coverage
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care
