Advance your career with a premier locum tenens Pediatric Neurosurgery Physician Assistant opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts. This high-demand travel assignment offers a consistent daytime schedule with no nights and no holidays, providing an outstanding work-life balance while caring for pediatric neurosurgery patients in a collaborative hospital environment.
Work alongside an experienced neurosurgical team managing inpatient pediatric patients through clinical rounds, care coordination, order management, and discharge planning. This travel assignment offers valuable clinical autonomy, diverse neurosurgical experience, and the opportunity to grow your expertise using Epic EMR.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients and implement treatment plans.
• Enter clinical orders and coordinate patient care.
• Manage discharge planning and inpatient follow-up.
• Remove Hemovac and JP drains when clinically appropriate.
• Document patient encounters using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts license or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 1 year of Neurosurgery experience required.
• Recent Epic EMR experience required.
Working Hours
• 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Day shifts
• Weekend coverage as scheduled
• No nights
• No holidays
