Position: Physician Assistant Neurosurgery

Schedule Details: 3x 13hr shifts per week 6a-7p, no nights, no holidays.
Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Patient Age Group: Peds
• Procedures: INPATIENT NEUROSURGERY --They start the day rounding with the residents and get the plan for the patients. They will review and put in order and see patients that "need to be seen". Otherwise they will then be working on orders and discharge. Client has a resident program that assists in the OR the APPs do not go into the OR. They are patient care only. Preferred ability to remove drains (hemovac / jp drains). 1yr exp with neuro req’d. There will be orientation prior to start.
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC in Neurosurgery required• State License(s): MA
• Years of Experience Req’d: 1 year minimum neurosurgery experience
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Willing To License?: yes- PA license should take about 3-5 weeks.
