🔍 Now Hiring: Physician Assistant – Neurosurgery (Night Shifts)

Location: Colorado
Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Up to 20 Shifts/Month

Are you a skilled Physician Assistant with a strong background in neurosurgery and trauma? We are seeking a confident, experienced PA to support a high-acuity hospital setting, providing expert care to adult and trauma patients during overnight shifts.

🧠 What You'll Be Doing:

• First-assist in neurosurgical procedures, including trauma and cerebrovascular cases
• Provide in-house call coverage for emergent surgical cases
• Respond promptly to critical situations with a hands-on approach
• Manage and evaluate hospital patients, including admissions and ICU cases
• Support neurosurgeons during surgeries (avg. 3/day) and patient rounds (10–25 patients/day)
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

🔧 Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in general neurosurgery (adult & trauma cases)
• Experience with spinal surgery (instrumented and non-instrumented)
• Familiarity with cerebrovascular procedures (open and endovascular techniques)
• Proficient in placing ICP monitors and working in a high-volume trauma environment
• Capable of supervising or assisting during locum physician coverage when needed

📌 Key Qualifications:

• Board Certified – Required
• Active Colorado license or Compact License – Required
• Prior neurosurgery experience with overnight shift work preferred
• EPIC EMR proficiency is a plus
• PA First Assist experience strongly preferred
