Greenstaff Medical is seeking experienced Trauma Surgery Physician Assistants for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Richland, Washington. The facility is looking for providers who are comfortable managing trauma surgery patients, including pediatric trauma cases.
Position Highlights
- Ongoing locum assignment beginning January 4, 2027.
- Inpatient Trauma Surgery coverage.
- Coverage needed approximately two weeks per month.
- No call requirements.
- EMR: Epic.
- Average patient volume of approximately 20 patients per shift.
Job Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and manage trauma surgery patients.
Participate in surgical consults and patient rounding.
Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.
Assist with pediatric trauma consultations and management as needed.
Qualifications
Active Washington license or eligibility through the IMLC.
Active DEA registration required.
ACLS and ATLS certifications required.
Previous Trauma Surgery experience required.
Providers must be comfortable caring for pediatric trauma patients and participating in pediatric surgical cases
Working Hours
Depending on facility needs.
