"Physician Assistant, Cardiovascular Surgery Opening in Munster, IN
Located in Munster, IN; Chicago 35m
Overview
* The medical group is hiring a full time Physician Assistant for Cardiovascular Surgery in a cardiovascular surgery office
* Schedule: days and evenings plus call, Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30, 80+ hours per pay period (1.0 FTE)
* Call: 1:6 weekend rounding and 1:4 OR call
* Locations: Munster, IN and East Chicago, IN
* Prior direct PA work experience preferred
Qualifications
* Graduate of an ARC-PA approved PA program, with current NCCPA certification
* Current active Indiana PA license
* Board certification required to be granted hospital privileges
* Current BLS, plus ACLS and/or ATLS for PAs working in surgery
* 1 to 2 years of experience as a PA
* Strong time management, communication and emergency response skills
