Description
Noor Locums is seeking Physician Assistants for locum tenens coverage within a busy Trauma and Acute Care Surgery service.
This is a hospital-based opportunity at a 251-bed Level II Trauma Center with a combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The PA will participate in trauma response, Emergency Department evaluation, admissions including ICU patients, surgical assistance, rounding, and postoperative care.
The position offers 3–4 shifts per week with no call and flexibility around the clinic schedule.

Job Responsibilities
Serve as initial response in the Emergency Department when the trauma surgeon is unavailable or in the OR
Evaluate and stabilize acute trauma and surgical patients
Admit patients to the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery service
Manage admissions including ICU patients
Perform inpatient rounding and follow-up
Assist surgeons with operative procedures
Provide postoperative patient management
Prepare patients for discharge and coordinate post-discharge care
Provide outpatient follow-up in the surgical clinic
Participate in clinic coverage approximately two days per week
Document patient care in Epic
Collaborate with trauma surgeons, surgeons, APCs and other hospital staff
Qualifications
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
ATLS certification required
Epic experience required
Trauma and Acute Care Surgery experience
Comfortable working in a high-acuity Level II Trauma environment
Experience with inpatient rounding and admissions
Experience assisting with surgical procedures
Comfortable evaluating and managing trauma patients
Working Hours
3–4 shifts per week
Shift Options:
Approximately 6:30 AM–4:30 PM or 6:30 AM–6:30 PM
Clinic:
Wednesday and Thursday, approximately 9:30 AM–4:30 PM. Clinic coverage can be adjusted when necessary based on team availability.
