Surgical Subspecialties Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Manchester, CT Full-Time | Inpatient Surgery | First Assist | Day/Night Rotating A seasoned Surgical Subspecialties team in Manchester, Connecticut is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to support inpatient surgical care, OR first assist, consults, and bedside procedures. Opportunity Highlights:

  • Inpatient Surgical Subspecialties APP role
  • Broad case mix across General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, and Plastic Surgery
  • Responsibilities include OR first assist, ED and inpatient consults, admissions, rounding, discharges, and invasive bedside procedures
  • Exposure to robotic-assisted procedures, vascular interventions, breast reconstruction, thoracic surgery, and other surgical subspecialty cases
  • Strong team culture focused on communication, autonomy, and hands-on surgical experience
  • Full-time day/night rotating schedule
  • No call required

  • Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Connecticut license or eligibility
  • Certified or board-eligible PA or Acute Care NP
  • 1+ years of surgery or related APP experience required
  • First-assist, inpatient surgery, or procedural experience preferred
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills
