Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant opening in Burlington, MA Full-Time | Inpatient/OR Coverage | First Assist | Greater Boston Area A tertiary care hospital in the Greater Boston area is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its Cardiothoracic Surgery team. Opportunity Highlights:

• Cardiothoracic Surgery PA role supporting postoperative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients
• Coverage includes ICU, progressive care, telemetry, operating room, and inpatient consults
• Responsibilities include H&Ps, daily progress notes, discharge summaries, ER consultations, admissions, and postoperative care coordination
• Participate in rotating weekday, weekend, night, and OR first-assist call coverage
• Work with a 24/7 in-house advanced practitioner coverage model
• Surgical first-assist responsibilities for cardiac and thoracic procedures
• Opportunity to support robotic thoracic surgery, endoscopic vein harvest, and radial artery harvest
• High-acuity, multidisciplinary cardiothoracic surgery environment Compensation and Benefits:
• Base salary range: $133,120 - $215,000
• Additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process Candidate Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Massachusetts PA license or eligibility
• Current BCLS or ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
• Experience with cardiac and thoracic surgical first assist
• Endoscopic vein harvest experience preferred
• Experience managing postoperative cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Familiarity with ventilators, inotropes, vasoactive medications, and circulatory support devices
• Skilled or experienced with chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, pacing wires, Swan-Ganz catheters, IABPs, sutures, and staples preferred
• Strong collaboration skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
