Fort Worth, TX | Surgical First Assist APP | September Start | 26-Week Assignment

• Start: September 1, 2026

• Contract Length: 26 weeks (ongoing potential)

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

• No call

Practice Details:

• 100% Operating Room First Assist

• Adult patient population

• Inpatient and outpatient setting

• Primary First Assist role

• No clinic, rounding, consults, or bedside procedures

Specialties:

• General Urology (Wednesdays)

• Urologic Oncology (Tuesdays)

• Gynecologic Oncology (Mondays & Thursdays)

• Endocrine Surgery (Mondays & Tuesdays)

• Otology (1 day per week)

Case Volume:

• Average of 2–3 surgical cases per day

• Robotic surgery exposure:

  • General Urology: 30%

  • Urologic Oncology: 60%

  • Gynecologic Oncology: 80%

  • Endocrine Surgery: None

  • Otology: None

Surgical Team:

• General Urology: 2 Surgeons

• Urologic Oncology: 2 Surgeons

• Gynecologic Oncology: 2 Surgeons

• Endocrine Surgery: 1 Surgeon

• Otology: 1 Surgeon

Requirements:

• Board Certified

• Texas license (active or pending accepted)

Credentialing:

• Estimated 60–90 days

• Emergency privileges may be available
