ATC West is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage for an extended maternity leave at a 247-bed hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee. This is a full-time, weekday opportunity with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities.
Position Highlights
- Location: Tennessee
- Facility: 247-bed hospital
- Coverage Needed: ASAP through October 23
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
- No after-hours, overtime, or weekend call
- Acute Care / Emergency General Surgery (EGS) program
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Clinical Responsibilities
- General surgery clinic
- Inpatient rounding
- Surgical consults
- Acute Care Surgery / Emergency General Surgery (EGS) patient management
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Tennessee license required
- General surgery experience preferred
- Acute care surgery or hospital-based surgical experience strongly preferred
- Prefer a clinician who lives in Tennessee
