• We are seeking an experienced Transplant Physician Assistant to support an inpatient liver transplant program.
• This is a night-shift role requiring strong clinical expertise in transplant care and patient management.
• The position involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions.

Job Responsibilities
• Complete documentation including H&P and event notes
• Update and maintain accurate patient handoffs with relevant clinical information
• Provide verbal handoff to the day Physician Assistant team
• Admit patients and conduct pre-operative workups for transplant candidates arriving overnight
Qualifications
• Active New York State Physician Assistant license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required
Working Hours
• Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Overtime applicable after 12.5 hours per shift
Skills
• Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Effective communication for handoffs and team collaboration
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
