Elite Locum opportunity for a Surgery Physician Assistant! Cover summer OR and surgical floor shifts with flexible schedules from June to August, with potential extension to year-end. Work with General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic patients in an acute care setting. Competitive hourly pay and call opportunities available.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
• ACLS, BLS, ATLS required
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in surgical/acute care setting
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working Hours
• Weekday Call: 7a-5p or 3p-11p
• Weekend Call: Fri 5p – Mon 7a
• Summer coverage primarily (June-Aug), potential extension
Skills
• Postoperative care and rounding
• Patient assessment and care coordination
• Epic charting
