Job Responsibilities
- First assist in cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
- Support robotic-assisted thoracic surgeries
- Manage pre- and post-operative inpatient care
- Perform endoscopic vein and open radial artery harvest
- Insert chest tubes, arterial lines, and manage emergent floor procedures
- Conduct daily rounds and coordinate discharge planning
- Participate in structured call rotation
Qualifications
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Minimum 3 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
- Eligible for Washington State licensure
- Active DEA registration
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong robotic thoracic surgery experience highly preferred
