• Locum assignment (May – July, up to full-time)
• In-house trauma hospitalist rounder role
• Level I adult trauma center (cares for pediatrics as well)
• EMR: Epic
• Staffed with Trauma Surgeon 24/7
• Prefer local providers (mileage reimbursed only)
• No call – in-house coverage only

Job Responsibilities
• ICU and non-ICU patient management
• Respond to ED trauma alerts
• ER admissions and facilitate discharges
• Perform procedures (preferred):
• Vent management (BiPAP/CPAP)
• Chest tube insertion
• Central and arterial line placement
• Suturing minor lacerations
• Admit and manage all patient conditions (no hospitalists utilized)
• Follow clinical tracking and documentation guidelines
Qualifications
• No FNPs – Required
• Minnesota License – Required at name clear
• ATLS, ACLS, PALS – Required
• DEA (verbal confirmation at name clear) – Required
• NPDB Self-Query (within current month) – Required
• Minimum 1 year inpatient APP experience (trauma/ICU/ortho preferred) – Required
• Must work NOC shift 7p–7:30a – Required
• Local candidate – Preferred
Working Hours
• No call
• May–July coverage
• Up to full-time hours
