Join the Trauma & Acute Care Surgery team at a leading medical center in Loveland, Colorado as a Nocturnist Physician Assistant! This full-time overnight role offers an opportunity to deliver advanced trauma and surgical care during 12-hour night shifts. Play a critical role in managing trauma admissions, emergency surgeries, and inpatient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team in a high-acuity environment. Perfect for experienced PAs seeking autonomy, clinical growth, and exposure to complex trauma cases.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery, and inpatient care
• Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support
• Perform patient evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostics
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• Support quality, safety, and performance metrics of the Trauma Surgery service
Qualifications
• NCCPA Certified – Required
• Unrestricted Colorado PA license – Required
• BLS certification – Required
• Minimum 2 years trauma surgery experience or surgical fellowship completion – Highly Preferred
• Clean malpractice/license history and NPDB self-query – Required
• Strong clinical judgment and autonomous practice skills
