🔥 Immediate high-paying travel opportunity for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant in New Jersey. This hospital-based role offers hands-on OR experience, ICU rounding, and advanced cardiac surgical support.
We are seeking a highly skilled PA with strong endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) expertise who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned cardiac surgery PAs looking for premium compensation and dynamic operative exposure.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) independently
• Chest tube insertions and vascular tissue retrieval
• Inpatient ICU and floor rounding (5–12 patients/day)
• Assist in approximately 2 cardiac surgeries per day
• Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care
• Diagnose, treat, and manage post-operative cardiac patients
• Participate in weekday, night, and weekend call rotation
Qualifications
• Active New Jersey License – Required
• Minimum 2–3 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
• Fully proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) – Required
• Recent NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
• Immediate availability preferred
• Cerner EMR experience – Preferred
Working Hours
• Weekday: 8–10 Hour In-House Shifts
• Night Call: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Weekend Call: Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 6:00 AM
• Weekend Rounding: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• EMR documentation (Cerner preferred)
