Elite Top-Paying Travel Cardiothoracic Surgery PA opportunity in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center in Toledo, OH 43608. This premium 91-day assignment offers advanced exposure in the OR, ICU, and post-operative cardiac surgery units with a strong collaborative surgical team.
Ideal for experienced Physician Assistants seeking competitive travel compensation, high surgical volume, and autonomy with physician backup available 24/7.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide ICU and inpatient post-op management
• Conduct pre-operative physical exams
• Perform suture removal and wound care
• Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and coordinate care
• Participate in 1:3 call rotation (10 days/month, 2 weekends/month)
• Document using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Active Ohio License
• BLS & ACLS Certified
• Cardiothoracic surgery experience required
• Clean background (mandatory)
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
• Comfortable working autonomously in high-acuity settings
Working Hours
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Night Call & 24-Hour Weekend Call (1:3 Rotation)
