Practice Setting: Trauma service with emergency general surgery and inpatient care

Schedule

Shift Type: 12-hour overnight shifts

Shift Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am
Clinical Responsibilities
-
Provide full-spectrum trauma and acute care surgical services during overnight shifts
-
Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery, and inpatient care
-
Perform evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostic studies
-
Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team

Practice autonomously while managing multiple complex patients

Support quality, safety, and performance metrics for the Trauma Surgery service

Participate in professional development and leadership opportunities through UCHealth OAP
Candidate Requirements

Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience required
-
OR completion of a surgical fellowship (highly preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $136,822 – $179,379 annually (based on experience)

Incentive: Up to $10,000 annually through QVIP

Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates
