Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Note: To be discussed upon application)
- Competitive salary range: $100,588 to $143,769 annually (equivalent)

What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert perioperative care to cardiothoracic surgery patients
- Assist in complex cardiac procedures, including vein harvesting and surgical assistive tasks
- Manage ICU and surgical patient care, including rounding and evaluations
- Participate in clinics and operating room coverage, Monday through Friday
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, physicians, and healthcare professionals
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and labs
- Develop and execute comprehensive care and follow-up plans
- Prescribe and manage medications per policy
- Perform bedside procedures appropriate for adult cardiac patients
- Ensure accurate, thorough clinical documentation
- Operate independently under physician supervision, demonstrating strong clinical judgment
- Complete ongoing CME to maintain and enhance skills
What You Need:
- Valid Colorado Physician Assistant license and certifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery and ICU management
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
