Inpatient | Full-Time | Night Shifts Only
A busy hospital in Western Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its General Surgery team for a night shift locum assignment. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly skilled surgical team in a high-volume environment while enjoying a consistent schedule and strong team support.
Job Responsibilities
🕐 Schedule: Full-time nights only, no call
📆 Start: As soon as credentialed (30–40 day timeframe)
🏥 Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based
🧾 EMR: Epic
🧠 Patient Population: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
👨⚕️ Surgical Mix:
General Surgery
Bariatric Surgery
Some Vascular
Some GYN cases
Qualifications
🎓 NCCPA Certification – Required
🩺 Active Massachusetts License at time of submission – Required (no exceptions)
📆 Must be available for full-time night shifts
Working Hours
Weekend Requirements: Yes -nights/weekends/holidays
On Call Requirements: No Call
